Join us for Territorios Sonoros (Sound Territories) — an evening of original music by Argentinian pianist and composer Emilio Teubal and Colombian guitarist and composer Daniel Reyes Llinás, live at Leaven Community in Portland.
Teubal and Reyes Llinás share a long musical friendship, having collaborated in New York City between 2008 and 2011 as part of Parias Ensemble, Daniel’s band dedicated to exploring Latin American identity through contemporary sound. Their reunion in Portland rekindles that creative dialogue — weaving improvisation, rhythm, and melody into a rich sonic landscape shaped by memory, migration, and imagination.
Featuring Sensah as guest vocalist, adding her distinctive voice to this evolving conversation across territories and sound.
