Emilio Teubal is an Argentine pianist, composer, and arranger based in New York. He has released seven albums as a bandleader and composer and has contributed as a sideman to numerous recordings, including Vigor Tanguero by the Pedro Giraudo Quartet, which won the 2018 Latin Grammy for Best Tango Album.

A prolific composer and arranger, Emilio identifies his artistry and creative search to the music of Latin America and the permanent elasticity of stylistic limits. His latest record, Seven Etudes, is a collection of piano pieces which evoke echoes of Latin American folk, jazz, and contemporary classical music. This followed the release of Futuro which was included on the list of 2023 Best Jazz albums in Bandcamp .

Earlier in his discography, Emilio released Tides (2020), an album of composed and improvised solo piano music, issued by New Focus Recordings and distributed by Naxos. In 2018, he released Memorias de Otro Tiempo, written for the Emilio Teubal Trio featuring Federico D
