About

We are The Odd Pearl Consort, a chamber music ensemble of baroque instruments (flute, violin, viola da gamba, harpsichord). We perform on historical instruments which are originals or faithful reproductions. As lifelong musicians, we are dedicated to continuous learning from early music specialists and perform regularly in various venues, including churches, retirement homes, and community centers. Since our formation in early 2019, we have been committed to sharing the beauty of baroque music with diverse audiences.

Music

We play Baroque and early Classical music, following the interpretative principles found in treatises and documents of the period. Some of our favorite composers are Telemann, Handel, Vivaldi, and Bach, in addition to several others of the 17th and 18th century.
