Three passionate musicians from different corners of the world meet in Berlin and - in love with the profound, exciting and subtle music from the far north. Davis West (Japan/USA), an extremely exciting violin player colors the band's sound with spirited improvisations, bold rhythms and lush harmonies. Natasha Jaffe, a charming Canadian cello player, is with her glowing melodies, whimsical improvisations and fiery accompaniments a wonderfully beguiling counterpart to the two dominant violins of the band. Barbara Steinacker (D) is an absolute folkmusic nerd comes with the most tunes from her travels, navigates and guides the trio with her huge repertoire as well as her tenacious management skills.
