About

Gabriel Landstedt is an accomplished and versatile pianist who has performed on the national and international stage. A prizewinner of numerous competitions, Gabriel made his concerto debut at the age of sixteen with the New Mexico Philharmonic, and his performances in 2024 took place at venues including Carnegie Hall, Fazioli Concert Hall, and Palau de la Música Catalana. In 2021 he established the vocal-piano ensemble Keyprano Duo with his wife, soprano Allison Landstedt.

Gabriel graduated with his BM degree and Second Major in German from the University of New Mexico. He pursued additional studies at the Hochschule für Musik Würzburg and the Manhattan School of Music. He earned his MM degree at the University of British Columbia, and he is currently pursuing his DMA degree there as a recipient of UBC’s premier Four Year Doctoral Fellowship.

Aside from music, Landstedt also enjoys skiing, hiking, running, and playing with his newborn daughter, Kate.

Music

I specialize in classical music from the baroque period to the present day! In 2025 I am focusing on presenting the works of Frederic Chopin, who's intimate and songful music is perfect for Groupmuse events. I also regularly feature on my programs the works of some of my other favorite composers, including J.S. Bach, Ludwig van Beethoven, Johannes Brahms, and Sergei Rachmaninoff.
