About
I am an 18-year-old Bangladeshi-American violinist from Sharon, Massachusetts. I am currently enrolled in a 5 year dual-degree program at Harvard and the New England Conservatory, where I study with Don Weilerstein. Formative teachers include Daniela Rubenstein, Jan Sloman, and Ryan Meehan. In 2021, I was accepted into and attended the Perlman Music Program for two summers, performing and working with world renowned violinist Itzhak Perlman and other esteemed faculty. In 2023, I was one of eight violinists selected internationally from ages 16-26 to participate in the Verbier Festival Academy in Switzerland. I made my orchestral debut at the age of 15 with the Concord Orchestra, and have since performed as a soloist with numerous orchestras across New England. I have been featured on National Public Radio (NPR)’s From the Top Program, and am an avid chamber musician.
