South Bay Guitar Society

The mission of the South Bay Guitar Society is to promote and present classical and related guitar styles to people of all cultures, ages, abilities, and economic means and to provide performance opportunities to professional and amateur musicians. The Society fulfills its mission by:

• Producing culturally diverse ticketed concerts
• Presenting free library lecture/demonstrations
• Taking artists to the schools
• Presenting a free GuitarStory concert to grades 5-8
• Organizing a GuitarFest each year which includes adjudication, free clinics, master classes, and concerts
• Presenting concerts at hospitals and senior homes
• Offering performance opportunities to professional and amateur guitarists at our monthly Open Mic
