About
After my early musical training in Vienna, I decided I wanted to play double bass when I was in first grade. 'You're too small', I was told, so I started on a half-sized cello. It was love at first sight, so needless to say I stuck with it. After some great times and experiences at Oberlin Conservatory, the University of Michigan and Juilliard, I'm having a blast making all sorts of music in New York City!
I love playing in non-traditional, intimate settings, anything from your living room to a bar. I perform anything from Bach suites on baroque cello (the way it was set up in Bach's day – perfect for house concerts!) to brand new works by some of today's best composers.
The best performances are the ones where I get to interact with the audience, both while I'm in the music and in conversations with you!
