Music

Bach Cello suites on bassoon, Mozart Bassoon Concerto, melodies from any of the Beethoven Symphonies, Telemann Flute Sonata arranged for bassoon, Bassoon arrangement of Bach Arioso and Air on the G string, Weber Concerto, Saint Saens Sonata, any bassoon orchestral excerpt! I take requests when I perform solo at parties and I also tell the best stories that show the color and diversity of the lives of the composers and their music. I also play jazz and rock tunes like Stevie Wonder songs and Free Bird. I have been able to combine Marriage of Figaro with Free Bird if you can believe it. I also perform solo works for bassoon by living composers. Memento by Stan Cording is a three movement bassoon solo Stan Cording just hired me to prepare and perform at the Timucua White House in Orlando, Florida last month. There is so much music to share yet the roots of all great art music stems from the classics. Classical warhorses must be shared so we can keep these traditions alive as powerful teaching and enrichment tools.

My ensemble Lakeside Chamber Players has a variety of ensembles from Woodwind Quintet, String Quartet, Brass Quintet, Percussion ensembles, Harpists, Pianists and one day we will bring our beloved conductor, Michael J. Garasi into our concerts. This takes a great deal of fundraising and is the reason we are an official Non-profit 501(c)(3) Educational Organization so all donations made are tax deductible. We also currently own the name Central Florida Orchestra, yet we need to raise major funding to launch this name/brand. Our ensembles perform all the standard war horses as well as tango, jazz and pop arrangements like Girl from Ipanema, Libertango, Liberty Bell March, California Dreamin' and more.
