This group of seasoned NYC musicians are excited to perform original arrangements of jazz standards from famous historic composers and players such as Billy Strayhorn, Duke Ellington, Duke Pearson, Joe Henderson, and more. Though our musicianship has taken us to explore new heights, these tunes are what we all learned the music from, and it feels extremely grounding and powerful to come back to the roots of the music you love.


Historical context

The music we will be playing stems from some of the most influential composers and players of jazz of all time. Jazz is constantly evolving, but it is just as important to push the boundaries as it is to continue to spread and teach its history.
