Bach to Bach: An Evening of Baroque Duets
Please join us for a cozy evening of cello duets, featuring beloved works by J.S. Bach and other composers.
I. The Pure Bach

Opening with this beloved work, Bach's first cello suite, composed around 1720, is one of the most known and cherished works in the cello repertoire.

Concluding with Bach's monumental achievement. Originally composed for solo violin, the Chaconne is considered one of Bach's greatest achievements. This arrangement for two cellos brings new depth to the piece, allowing for a fuller realization of its harmonic structure while maintaining the emotional intensity of the original.
