Where does this music come from?
The programs I perform display an eclectic mix of classical piano pieces chosen for a diverse audience. The music I perform serves as an excellent overview of the evolution of piano styles from the elegant gracefulness of Classicism to the passionate lyricism of Romanticism through the atmospheric Impressionism of Debussy to the rhythmic percussiveness of Modernism.
