    Join the Washington, D.C. debut of Radu Ratoi on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 (7:00 PM) at the Kennedy Center Terrace Theater, in a recital that redefines the expressive boundaries of the accordion. Through this recital, Ratoi showcases an astounding range: from Baroque elegance (Rameau overture) to J.S. Bach’s profound Passacaglia & Fugue in C minor (BWV 582), to Liszt’s fiery Transcendental Étude No. 10 “Appassionata,” to a kaleidoscopic world through Schubert, Per Nørgård, Saint-Saëns, and Stravinsky’s Suite Italienne (in collaboration with violinist Lun Li). The program is crowned by a world premiere by YCA’s Composer-in-Residence Hannah Ishizaki — fresh, adventurous, and tailor-made for Ratoi’s daring voice.
