Host

Join us for a cozy Saturday afternoon as Daniel Hass takes us on an intimate solo cello journey. A deeply expressive musician and longtime Groupmuse favorite, Daniel crafts music with remarkable eloquence, drawing out the cello’s full emotional depth—from its most delicate whispers to its most powerful resonance. A true artist with a profoundly critical mind, he approaches music not just as a performer, but as a storyteller, shaping each note with intention and insight.

Moving effortlessly between classical and contemporary worlds, Daniel reimagines the great masters while also carving new paths in music today. In this special solo program, he shares selections from Bach’s timeless cello suites, Kodály’s fiery sonata, and an original piece of his own—a program that is at once deeply personal and expansively expressive.

Please arrive between 3:30 and 4 PM. Music starts at 4 PM. Please note this is a no-shoes household, so wear your fun socks!
