About

I'm a playwright, actor and singer based in the UK, where I have lived when I arrived there from my home country of Nigeria when I was 16. I trained and practiced for 15 years , but have been performing full time since 2009. When I'm in the US a few times a year, it is usually to perform any one of three plays, most usually Call Mr. Robeson, about Paul Robeson.

Music

Apart from songs associated with Paul Robeson (Spirituals, folk songs, protest songs and Ol' Man River) I sing a bit of jazz and a bit of classical - from operatic and oratorio arias to art songs by African American composers. A real mixture. I also perform some poetry, and give lecture/concerts on Black historical and activist subjects.
