Guitarist Andrew Marino holds both a Doctor of Musical Arts degree and a Master of Music degree in guitar performance and pedagogy from the Peabody Conservatory and a Bachelor of Music degree from SUNY Potsdam. Outside of the Marino Duo, Andrew frequently performs with mezzo-soprano Andrea Saposnik as Duo Voxara. Andrew currently serves on the faculties of Hoff-Barthelson Music School and Greenwich Suzuki Academy.

Pianist and educator Jessica Marino is an active accompanist, collaborating with conductors across New York State and Western Connecticut. She has collaborated with many choirs, instrumentalists, vocalists and opera companies, performing in the U.S., Austria, and Germany. She is currently on the piano faculty at Greenwich Country Day School. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance with a concentration in Piano Pedagogy from the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam. She received the Susan Smykia Edell ’57 Award for Excellence in Piano Accompanying.

With a shared dedication to exploring both classical masterpieces and contemporary compositions, Andrew and Jessica create dynamic performances that bridge centuries of music, offering something unique for every listener.

The duo’s repertoire spans the vast landscape of classical music, from the intricate works of the Baroque and Classical eras to the sweeping romanticism of the 19th century. At the same time, the Marino Duo is committed to expanding the traditional duo format by performing contemporary works that push the boundaries of both instruments.
