About

Ludovica Burtone is a versatile violinist and composer based in NYC, blending classical, jazz, Brazilian, and contemporary improvisation. Classically trained, she earned a Master of Arts in violin performance from Conservatorio Tomadini in Italy and studied at Barcelona’s Liceu. After performing with European orchestras for over nine years, she moved to the U.S., earning a jazz composition diploma from Berklee. She has worked with Jon Batiste, Dave Douglas, Susana Baca, Camila Meza, A.R. Rahman, and more, appearing at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and Radio City Music Hall.

Her debut album, Sparks (March 2023), was named Best Jazz on Bandcamp. Her second album, Migration Tales, exploring immigrant women's stories, releases April 18 on Endectomorph via La Reserve. Supported by Café Royal Cultural Foundation and New Music USA, the project blends jazz and world influences. A dedicated educator and recording artist, she co-founded O Kwarteto Collective and continues expanding her creativ
