Jessica Chen is a violinist and violist based in Los Angeles who enjoys performing across a diverse range of musical genres, cultures, and multidisciplinary arts settings. She is an active freelance player in Los Angeles, performing with groups including Filipino American Symphony Orchestra, LA Film Conducting Intensive, and Opera NEO. Jessica has also performed with ensembles such as the Asian Cultural Symphony Orchestra (Singapore), Steamboat Symphony Orchestra, and the Boulder Bach Festival (Colorado). A keen supporter of new music, Jessica has premiered original compositions through the itch and Pendulum New Music concert series. In addition, Jessica is a passionate worship musician and serves regularly with the worship music ministry Stream of Praise 讚美之泉.
