I am a classically trained flutist and piccolo specialist with over 30 years professional experience, keeping up with modern trends and expanding my repertoire with a focus on music of the 20th and 21st centuries. My programming is extremely versatile, ranging from music in the traditional canon (Bach, Telemann, Mozart, Debussy, etc.) to thematic programs including but not limited to: music of myth and legend; music by female composers (Ana Bon, Mel Bonis, Leanna Keith, Amanda Harberg, Reena Esmail, etc.); music by composers persecuted during the Holocaust (Dick Kattenburg, Ilse Weber, Erwin Schulhoff, Leo Smit, etc.); music by BIPOC composers (William Grant Still, Linthicum-Blackhorse, Evan Williams, Allison Loggins-Hull, Valerie Coleman, etc.); music by LGBTQ+ composers (Lowell Liebermann, Henry Cowell, Francis Poulenc, Samuel Barber, etc.); music inspired by social/environmental/political justice issues; and more. I can customize a program for any event, theme, and setting!
