About
Described as “endlessly creative” by ATL Voyage and “a shining new face in jazz” by Bold Journey, Casen Alesi is a dynamic percussionist from Kennesaw, Georgia. A graduate of Kennesaw State University under Justin Chesarek and John Lawless, he has performed with ensembles like the Berlin Opera Academy Orchestra and collaborated with artists such as Jon Faddis and ELEW. Alesi balances classical, jazz, and contemporary music with roles in education, theater, and conventions like Anime Weekend Atlanta.
Music
I learned my craft through formal study, mentorship, and years of performance, drawing from jazz, classical, and contemporary traditions. I'm deeply committed to continuously refining my artistry and expanding my musical voice. Music-making and teaching are my primary professions, and I view them as lifelong pursuits.
