 y personal voice to the piano.\n\nJohn Hart is a New York fixture on the N
 ew York music scene for 30 years\, John Hart has distinguished himself as 
 a band leader with 18 CDs - including releases on such prestigious labels 
 as Blue Note and Concord - as well as a first call sideman to the stars in
 cluding a sixteen year tenure with organist Jack McDuff. Other association
 s include Lou Donaldson\, James Moody\, Jon Hendricks\, Jimmy Smith\, Bria
 n Blade\, Chris Potter\, Larry Goldings\, Bob Belden\, Rick Margitza\, Jav
 on Jackson and the Maria Schneider Orchestra. A prolific recording artist\
 , John has appeared on 100-plus CDs as a sideman.\n\nMike Lee is a Clevela
 nd-born tenor saxophonist who has been a prominent presence on the New Yor
 k and Northern New Jersey jazz scene for more than three decades. He has p
 erformed and recorded with artists and ensembles including the Jimmy Heath
  Orchestra\, Dizzy Gillespie Orchestra\, Wallace Roney\, Oliver Lake\, Mar
 ia Schneider\, the Village Vanguard Orchestra\, and Roy Hargrove. A dedica
 ted educator as well as a performer\, Lee is a professor of jazz saxophone
  at Montclair State University and has played an important role in jazz ed
 ucation through Jazz House Kids.\n\nCharlie Himel is a New York–area bas
 sist known for his versatility on both upright and electric bass. Original
 ly from Falls Church\, Virginia\, he has performed with artists including 
 Pete Malinverni\, Carol Morgan\, Greg Ruggiero\, Vinny Valentino\, and Aar
 on Seeber. Himel has also toured and held residencies with the Glenn Mille
 r Orchestra\, The James Hunter Six\, Nefesh Mountain Band\, and Wild Magno
 lia. He is an active member of the Tri-State jazz scene and a sought-after
